Webster's Got Talent (Vienna Edition)

Are you musical? Do you have an act for magic? Are you itching to showcase your inner artist?
Well, it’s that time of year again: Webster Vienna’s Student Resources Center presents: Webster’s Got Talent 2021!! 

Webster’s Got Talent is a cooperative event between the campuses of Geneva, Leiden, and Vienna, where each Webster’s community creates an exciting and diverse talent show. 
Participants get the chance to perform their chosen medium in front of their Webster community to compete for an ultimate prize: to perform against the other campuses’ winners! (So Geneva’s and Leiden’s!).  

This year, talents will be presented digitally through the WVPU Student Resource Center’s Instagram and Facebook pages.  

Here are the rules:  

Video Submission 

• Submit your video, including a picture of you/your group by February 21, 2021. Make sure to practice before you submit! The link to submit your videos is below.  
• The talent can be anything from poetry to extreme pen spinning! Just make sure it is school appropriate and can be seen on the screen.  
• Did you create a short film recently? Even movies can enter the WGT competition, as long as it is original materials! 
• The video must be max 6 min. (email us for possible exceptions) 
• Please be aware that due to copyright law, some audio content might be muted by Facebook or Instagram. This should not be the case for cover songs (contact us for more information)  

Voting: 

• All performances will be posted on February 23, 2021 on both SRC’s FB and Instagram accounts.
• Votes will be counted by the number of likes each video receives until March 1, 2021.  Make sure to share and promote your video! *
• Announcement of winner and runner-up will be live on March 5, 2021.

There are prizes for both the Webster’s Got Talent winning and runner up acts (and a small token for each participant)!

The winner and runner-up will represent Webster Vienna Private University and compete against Webster Geneva’s and Webster Leiden’s winners at the European WGT virtual competition, which highlights our spirit of global citizenship.
