Registration is now open for online Chinese language and culture summer camps with the Confucius Institute!
Camps run July 6 through August 1 and are for students aged 7 to 14. No previous exposure to Chinese is necessary.
Camps offered are:
Let's Speak Chinese/Beginner
This camp allows beginners to quickly pick up one of the most difficult languages in the world through songs, games, movies, and actions. With a different theme each week, campers will learn to speak on a variety of daily topics in Chinese and to delve into Chinese culture through engaging and fun activities.
Kick, Dance, Move!
Love your body and boost your energy with this camp that combines Chinese kung fu, Chinese Dance and Tai Chi. In learning the basic moves of each, you will also kick, dance, and move your way closer to Chinese philosophy and culture.
Moving Forward with Chinese/Intermediate
This camp is great for the Chinese learners who would like to refresh their exiting language skills through fun activities like singing, drawing, games and storytelling. Campers will build the self-confidence to use Chinese as they continue to develop their language skills.
