During the fourth Webster Talks open lecture, Dr Saunders will question the fundamental assumption of economics and show how it has led to injustice, conflict, and violence. Listeners are challenged to rethink their perspectives about the economy and its purpose. By shifting from the assumption of scarcity to an assumption of abundance, the world is repositioned for realizing abundance. She will argue that the world we are presently experiencing, is not preordained. It is humanmade, and therefore can be changed to be a better expression of humanity.
