The Virginia Mitchell Endowed Lectureship in Jewish Music sponsors this ThompsonTalk. 

Uproar Duo is dedicated to exploring the standard classical and new contemporary repertoire for saxophone and piano. Their first album, In the City, presents four cutting-edge works that explore the entire range of musical possibilities for a sax/piano duo: jazz and bee-bop influences, romantic lyricism, and percussive, rhythmically-driven virtuosity.
