“Mama Cat” (Dr. Cathy Daniels) and her “PotBangerz” cook a meal every week for 150-200 unhoused people in St. Louis and has a team of volunteers who help her deliver the food throughout the city. She is working towards opening a transitional home in Pine Lawn for any woman (cis, trans, or queer) in need. Her reach throughout the community seems to be never ending. She feeds anyone who needs a meal and will let nothing prevent her from helping anyone in need. In her, one sees what one person, with a lot of fire and will, can accomplish.
With public support from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
