The Webster University Commencement Ceremony
honoring the Class of 2020.

Doors open: 14:15
Start Ceremony: 15:00
End of Ceremony: 17:00 - a reception will follow the closing of the ceremony

Please note that the doors to the Pieterskerk will be closed once the ceremony has begun, so all guests are advised to arrive on time.
Graduating students should assemble in the change room of the Pieterskerk no later than 14:00 to prepare for the ceremony. This includes putting on your cap and gown properly and forming the procession.

Tickets/Invitations
Each graduating student will be given up to seven (7) official invitations. Your graduation invitations can be picked up at our Information & Services desk, date tba. If you are unable to pick up your invitations, we would be happy to mail the invitations to you, if you provide us with your mailing address. Please send your request to: huijts@webster.nl. Additional invitations over (7) must be obtained from fellow graduating classmates.

All guests must show their Webster University graduation invitation at the entrance to the church. No one will be let in without this invitation. There will be no childcare facilities available, so we strongly advise you not to bring in any children under six years of age. Please note that current Webster students do not need an invitation if they wish to attend the ceremony.

Parking
It is NOT possible to park at Webster's parking lot on the day of graduation. We urge guests to park at the Haagweg parking facilities just outside the city center. From the Haagweg parking lot, it is just a five-minute walk to the Pieterskerk. There is also a free shuttle that takes visitors to the Breestraat.

Seating
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any special seating requirements (for example, wheelchair), please mention this in the form.

Caps & Gowns
All graduating students must borrow a cap and gown for the occasion from Webster. You may come to Webster to try on a gown ahead of time, but you are required to fill in your height and weight in the form so that we can prepare the gown for you. The cap and gown remain property of the university and will be collected at the end of the ceremony; however, you may keep the tassel.

Diplomas
Approximately two months following the official graduation date, students who have completed all of their graduation requirements and whose accounts have been approved by the Business Office will receive their diploma by registered mail.*

Please note that a one-time Graduation Petition Fee (€125) is charged separately to all graduating students.

General Rehearsal: May 6 & 7, 2020 - 16:00- 17:00

*Please note that participation in the Graduation Ceremony does not guarantee that the student has met all of the requirements for Graduation.
