Student Views on Effective Classroom Learning Environments

This presentation will be a combination of research findings and suggestions on “best practices” that could result in more effective learning environments as well as aid in retention. Attendees will be invited to share their classroom experiences. Students surveyed answered questions such as:

1. What motivates you in the classroom to want to learn?

2. Describe three qualities of a teacher who you thought was effective in motivating you to learn.

3. What do teachers misunderstand about you as a learner?
