Stephanie Beatriz can currently be seen in the final season of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, which was brought back by popular demand on NBC. Last season directorial debut – the episode features a relevant #MeToo storyline. Beatriz’s standout performance as ‘Detective Rosa Diaz’ has earned rave reviews and numerous awards, including the 2018 Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series and a 2015 Screen Actors Guild Nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. This follows being including in the Hollywood Hot List by LATINA Magazine. In addition, the series has also garnered critical acclaim, including the 2018 GLAAD Award for Outstanding Comedy Series and the 2014 Golden Globe for Best Television Series.
She voiced ‘Sweet Mayhem’ in THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART as well as having lent her voice to a variety of noteworthy animated projects, including: Raphael Bob-Waksberg’s Critics Choice award winning adult comedy BOJACK HORSEMAN from Netflix; Loren Bouchard’s Primetime Emmy Award winning sitcom BOB’S BURGERS from Fox Broadcasting; Mike Thurmeier’s ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE from Twentieth Century Fox; and the family comedy DANGER & EGGS from Amazon.
As a bisexual Latina, Beatriz is known for her outspoken advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and queer representation in the entertainment industry. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband.

This event will be moderated by Marcella Arguello, is the host and booker of Women Crush Wednesdays, the hottest and most diverse show in Los Angeles, which happens every first Wednesday at The Hollywood Improv Lab. Her debut album, The Woke Bully - which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Comedy Charts and was named One Of The Best Comedy Albums of 2019 by NPR program Bullseye - is a combination of Marcella’s unique perspective and honesty which captures what it’s like to experience her live. In January 2020, Marcella can be seen as a panelist on David Spade’s Lights Out on Comedy Central. Her stand up can be seen on the second season of 2 Dope Queens on HBO as well as Night Train with Wyatt Cenac on STARZ. In 2019, MSN.com listed Marcella as number 10 in their list of "Top female comedians working in film and television today" alongside Amy Schumer, Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong.
