In the framework of its annual Digital Economy course, Prof. Rouben Indjikian is continuing inviting leading international experts and business leaders to hold open lectures. The Spring 2, 2023 lectures will take place in hybrid format: at Webster University Geneva Campus and through Zoom (register to get the link).
Prof. Indjikian invited three distinguished speakers covering various aspects of digital economy and business processes. They will make the following presentations:

Vincent Minna is a Business Development Leader at Covantis SA, a digital platform created by leading Agri-trading companies to manage online trade execution processes for the Agri commodity trading industry. Before joining Covantis Vincent worked nearly twenty years at Bunge as a Director of Finance & Trade Execution, CFO Mena & Geneva Trading Desks and finally Director of Global Trade Commodity Solutions.
“E-Logistics with a focus on e-bill of lading””, 17 April, 11:00-13:00, in Campus and Zoom
Richard Watts has extensive experience in shipping, trading, insurance, finance and legal matters relating to physical commodities. Richard worked in various sectors of the business including contract execution, legal, insurance and shipping. In 2008 he created HR Maritime, based in Geneva to provide bespoke professional services to the trading and shipping community. Richard is the President of the Geneva branch of The Propeller Club and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
“Digital Economy: the role of microchips”, 26 April, 14:00-16:00, via Zoom
Dr. Yervant Zorian is a Chief Architect at Synopsys & President of Synopsys Armenia. He is currently also the President of IEEE Test Technology Technical Council (TTTC), the founder and chair of the IEEE 1500 Standardization Working Group, the Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the IEEE Design and Test of Computers and an Adjunct Professor at University of British Columbia. Formerly, Zervant was Vice President and Chief Scientist of Virage Logic, Chief Technologist at LogicVision, and a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff AT&T Bell Laboratories.
