Series of Open Lectures on Commodities, Via Prof. Indjikian's hybrid Classroom

In the framework of 10th annual course on commodities, Prof. Rouben Indjikian is continuing inviting leading international experts to hold open lectures. This Fall 2 lectures will take place from 11am to 1pm (CET), hybrid format, on Webster University Geneva Campus and through Zoom.  

Prof. Indjikian invited three distinguished speakers, who will present on the themes below.

“International Oil Market: current crisis and outlook ”, 8 November,  by Zoom

Toril Bosoni is in charge of key division of IEA responsible for producing monthly Oil Market Report following closely market developments on a regular basis and serving as a reference for market participants and watchers.

Jamal Oulhadj, President, ICE Futures, Abu Dhabi

“Trading and price risk management: the case of commodity exchange”, 10 November, on Campus & by Zoom

Jamal Oulhadj is leading a branch of ICE commodity exchange in Abu Dhabi, overseeing  its performance, in particular, in executive, operations, risk management, regulatory, and compliance areas. Among others he is actively implementing innovative trading and price risk management techniques.

Jan Hoffmann, Chief, Trade Logistics Branch, Division for Technology & Logistics, UNCTAD

“The role of logistics in international trade of commodities”, 6 December,  in Campus & by Zoom

Jan Hoffmann is leading the Trade Logistics Branch of Technologies and Logistics Division of UNCTAD where he, among others, is in charge of preparation of annual UNCTAD Review of Maritime Transport
