Series of Open Lectures on Commodities, Via Prof. Indjikian's Virtual Classroom


In the framework of his 8th annual course on commodities, Prof. Indjikian is continuing to organize online open lectures on commodities for students, faculty and interested knowledge seekers. Prof. Indjikian invited four distinguished speakers, who will present on the themes below. 

  • Tedd George, Chief Narrative Officer, Kleos Advisory, UK  
     "Tradetech and the Digitalisation of the Commodity Value Chain", November 5th 2020

    Tedd George is a well-known expert on commodity markets, especially in Africa, and is a regular speaker on the international conference and webinar circuit, as well as a pundit in the media. Before creating Kleos Advisory Ltd, Tedd played key roles as head of research at the pan-African bank, Ecobank, and as senior economist at the Economist Intelligence Unit with responsibility for commodities and Lusophone African markets.

  • Vincent Minna, Business Development Leader, Covantis SA
    Secure digital platform for commodity trade execution”, 24 November 2020

    Vincent Minna recently joined as Business Development Leader at Covantis SA, a Swiss based company newly formed by leading Agri-trading companies to develop a digital platform managing trade execution processes for the Agri commodity trading industry. Before that he worked nearly twenty years at Bunge as a Director of Finance & Trade Execution, CFO Mena & Geneva Trading Desks and finally Director of Global Trade Commodity Solutions. 

  • Matthieu Delorme, International Consultant, former Director of COTECNA
    “An Introduction to the Agriculture Supply-/Value-Chain”, November 26th, 2020 - 

    Matthieu Delorme is an expert in the areas of commodities trading, finance, and inspection, testing and certification. He is a former Senior Vice President at Cotecna Inspection SA, a leading commodity inspection company. Prior to that, Matthieu held senior trading and management positions at commodity firms André & Cie., Continental Grain Company, and Grupo Espirito Santo. Mr Delorme’s first assignments took him to Latin America for a decade, followed by regional postings in Asia of similar duration until the late 1990’s.
