Senior Amber Kelso presents a jazz voice recital in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies/Performance. Her recital includes a delightful mixture of new takes on old tunes, a trip down memory lane, and selections from prominent female jazz vocalists. There is also an emphasis on transcribed solo material set to lyrics that will bring a new light to improvisations from Joe Henderson, John Coltrane, and John Handy.
