Reflective Teaching Community

The Reflective Teaching Community (RTC) meets monthly to discuss topics in teaching and learning in a supportive environment of like-minded colleagues. We invite all full-time and part-time faculty and academic partners to join us as we share teaching perspectives and experiences across disciplines.

Each year, we choose a theme, and the 2020-21 theme is "Antiracist Teaching." Our conversations continue important work happening across Webster this year to dismantle systemic racism and build a more equitable institution. During our sessions, we will reflect on our own relationships to racism and privilege, develop skills for identifying racism within our own classrooms, and build teaching practices that promote equity.

All our conversations this year will be held remotely via Zoom, and participants must sign in with their Webster credentials to join.

For more information and to RSVP, go to the RTC sign-up page.
