About this Event
In the framework of his course on Global Energy Economy, Prof. Indjikian organises open lectures by leading international energy experts for students and faculty in Webster Geneva Campus and online via Microsoft Teams Meeting invitations. The lectures will take place in classroom Alpes 24 from 9:30 to 11am.

Jean-Christian Heintz, LNG Consultant, Wideangle LNG
“Pipeline and Liquified natural gas (LNG) as two gas markets : weaponisation, price evolution and demand prospects”, Thursday, 12 February, 2026
Jean-Christian Heintz has a 25-year technical and commercial experience in Natural Gas and LNG. A seasoned LNG business developer, he started with Paris-based Engie - formerly known as GDF Suez - where he held various trading and contract management roles at a global level. He was then successively appointed as Head of LNG at DXT Commodities (2013), SCB Brokers (2019) and more recently Alpiq (2020), each time building desks from scratch.
In 2017-2018, and again since 2022, Jean-Christian has been active as an independent advisor for numerous customers ranging from new entrants to industrials and utilities. He is well known on the social media for his insightful views and his weekly digest "LNG espresso" which is now in its 9th season. Since 2020, Jean-Christian is member of the Governing Body of Gastech conference, which took place in Milan in 2025 and will take place in Bangkok in September 2026.
