November 10, 2018 & Saturday Seminars on Teaching English as a Second Language

You are welcome to join the upcoming Saturday Seminars hosted by the Teaching English as a Second Langage Program(TESL) in the School of Education.

These seminars are a part of the coursework of the TESL cohorts supported by the NPD grant.

The theme for the November Seminars will focus on two topics 1) the Student and 2) the Community. This is based on our own model of the Teacher-Student Success Network (TSSN). Each seminar is correlated to one element of the TSSN. The TSSN puts the Teacher-Student relationship at the center surrounded by key players including family and community. Each seminar is based on one aspect of the TSSN. Cohort members then spend the day exploring one aspect of the TSSN through actives and self-reflection.
