About this Event
8274 Big Bend Blvd., Webster Groves, MO 63119
You are invited to join a thought-provoking free conference where notable St. Louis personalities and community leaders will gather to address the question “Where are we headed?” in light of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. Co-organized by the Centre Francophone in St. Louis and the Alliance Française de St. Louis.
The concept of St. Louis’ Nuit des idées aligns with those organized in different cities across the United States. Participants such as Isabelle Heidbreder (Honorary Consul of France in St. Louis) and Julian Schuster (President of Webster University) will answer the following question: “Where are we headed?”
All participants will tackle this question according to their respective field of expertise and in no more than 5 minutes. The idea is to share expectations, aspirations, and concerns for the future of St. Louis, from different angles and perspectives, all in light of ongoing events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Each participant will have to answer questions and interact with the audience for about 10 minutes after their presentations.
The conference will take place in Browning Hall - ISB 160 Auditorium at Webster University. The address is 8274 Big Bend Blvd., Webster Groves, MO 63119.
