Traces I was here opening at Hunt Gallery features works of art and design by Justin Bailey. Through the design and fabrication of furniture, objects, and lighting, Justin Bailey seeks to better understand the essential utility of canonical objects within our homes. Justin Bailey is Assistant Professor of Art in the Eskanzi School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Bailey earned the MFA at University of Iowa and BFA in Sculpture (2012) at Webster University.

The exhibition opening is Friday, Sept. 17^th 5:00-8:00 pm (the artist will give a brief artist’s talk at 6:00 p.m.)

Opening Reception will occur outside The Visual Arts Studios at 8342 Big Bend Blvd. Masks are required indoors and outdoors. A limited number of patrons will be allowed to enter the gallery at one time.

The opening reception is a scheduled event of the Homecoming Weekend 2021 celebration.

The exhibition will close Oct. 22, 2021
