On our life journey, we all experience relational misattunements of varying kinds and intensities. As well as addressing how healthy emotional development unfolds and how genetic and epigenetic factors contribute to human development, this conference will highlight the significance of ruptures in feelings of trust and safety and how those shape the people we become. As Counselors, therapists, teachers and other caregivers we encounter the consequences of these early developmental challenges regularly. However, as our speakers will explain much can be done to address the consequences of these misattunements. Through fostering the potential for neuroplasticity, bonds of deep emotional connection and coregulation can facilitate healing and nurture resilience.
