Webster University is proud to present Dyslexia 101 Seminar to parents and professionals.
Mark Borella, Founder of Seeds of Happiness and local artist, will be sharing his experience as a student with dyslexia.
Mary Kaeser-Miller and Sarah Bartley from Dyslexia St. Louis: Learning & Advocacy Center along with Kim Stuckey, Dyslexia Specialist Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will be presenting Dyslexia 101.
Topics to be covered are:
Definition of Dyslexia
Components of an effective reading program based on the science of reading
How to help students in a classroom setting
How parents can access the special education process
The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session with a panel of professionals.
