Speaker: Dr. Keith Gaynor
“Don’t Worry, Be Happy” is a talk for those who experience worry in their daily lives. Keith Gaynor discusses how we worry, why we worry and how it can ruin even the best situations. The talk gives us insight into the evolutionary basis of worry and the psychology of worry which creates cycles of worry that are difficulty to break. Using practical examples, the talk looks at six ways to reduce worry in our lives. It focuses on cognitive behavioural techniques to manage and reduce everyday worry that anyone can use. These techniques are drawn from evidence-based treatments and are adapted for our busy lives. It is a practical guide to living more and worrying less.
