Domestic Violence Awareness Month Kickoff

Domestic violence (DV) can impact anyone. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience DV. October is DV Awareness Month. Purple is the color that symbolizes the commitment to end DV. Wear purple on Friday, October 1 from 11:30a - 1:00p, and stop by the UC to get your nail painted purple to show your support of survivors of domestic violence. Also, if you stop by and show us your purple or get your nail painted, you will be entered into a drawing to receive a $25 Amazon Gift!

Don't have time to stop by or you work/study at an extended campus? No problem! Post your picture with your purple and tag @websteru to have your name entered into the drawing.

Visit #PutTheNailinIt for more information and survivor stories from Dave Navarro, Tamron Hall, and others.
