After the success of the first two editions, the Creativity Week will take place this year between 8 and 12 of June on the Webster University Geneva campus. Jointly organised by the  Webster Center for Creativity and Innovation and the Serendipity Society, this Week’s overarching theme is creativity and innovation with a focus on luck, accident, chance and the prepared mind.

The confirmed keynotes and invited speakers so far are Ron Beghetto (Arizona State University, USA), Samantha Copeland (TU Delft, the Netherlands), Alan Lawson (independent artist), Margherita Sprio (University Of Westminster, UK) and Frédéric Vallée-Tourangeau (Kingston University, UK).

The Creativity Week will include a conference in the morning, workshops in the afternoon, panel discussions and keynotes early evening. This year’s event will showcase creativity, innovation and serendipity in five main areas – psychology, business, art, media, and society – each one with a dedicated day within the week. The event will end, on Friday 12th of June, with a visit to the Musée Historique de Lausanne for the exhibition ‘Losanna, Svizzera – 150 ans d’immigration italienne à Lausanne’.
