Big Questions Lecture Series: Professor Taylor Carlson on Navigating Political Discourse in America

The 2023-2024 Big Questions Lecture series theme is "Why has the public discourse become so divisive and what can we do about it?" 

Taylor Carlson is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Washington University and Author of Talking Politics: Political Discussion Networks and the New American Electorate (2020) and What Goes Without Saying: Navigating Political Discussion in America (2022)

Professor Carlson will offer a lecture from noon to 12:50 in Browning Hall, room 160 (Browning Auditorium)j. The liecture is titled "Through the Grapevine: Socially Transmitted Information and Distorted Democracy."

An informal conversation about navigating political discussions in America will occure in Browning Hall, Room 140 from 1-1:50 pm
