Basic Practice in Neuro-Counseling

Come expand your skills with the addition of basic neuro-counseling techniques. Dr. Stacy Henning is offering a "learn as we practice," 8 week, 45 minute session to learn, discuss, and practice basic neuro-counseling techniques. We will learn the basics of brain function and how it stores traumatic situations. See below for session topics.

 

These sessions are an informal opportunity to learn and practice techniques that are trans-theoretical. This is not an official course, yet students must be on time and actively and professional participate in the sessions. Attendance at the first session is required for subsequent attendance. Related resources will be shared.

 

Week 1: Basic brain function--attendance required to attend all other topics

Week 2: Breathwork and meditation

Week 3: Visualization

Week 4: Prayer and forgiveness

Week 5: Music as a healing agent

Week 6: HEAL

Week 7: RECON
