Turning the Tide of the Missouri Opioid Crisis - Psychology Speaker Series

Andrea Lynne Taylor, Ph.D. , ABPP is a Supervisory Clinical Psychologist, and Clinical Director of the Opioid Addiction Treatment Program (OATP), at the St. Louis VA Medical Center.  Since 2011, Dr. Taylor has worked at OATP providing preventive, assessment, and treatment services to veterans in the region, in an effort to help turn the tide of the opioid crisis. Born and raised in St. Louis, Dr. Taylor returned to the area in 2009 after a quarter century on both coasts engaged in educational (Stanford, NYU, Rutgers) and career (NBC, Goldman Sachs) pursuits.  In addition to travel in her free time, she enjoys training her 3-year-old Chihuahua rescue in obedience, rally, and agility, which has allowed her to apply her knowledge of operant conditioning more successfully than she has with any human, including herself!
