Trump, the President That Was Not To Be

On Wednesday, March 1st at 6PM (in the Commons Room), Dr. Michael Sakbani will share his views on how the election of Donald J. Trump might impact the United States’ economic and political agenda domestically and abroad.

On November 9th 2016, Americans—along with most of the rest of the world—woke up to the surprise election of Donald Trump as President of the United States.  He has now been in office one month and made most of his staff appointments.  The American population is heavily divided by many of his actions.  The Dow Jones Industrial average has reached new record highs, but the moral of many global partners is abysmally low.

Dr. Sakbani will discuss how Trump won office; the significance of his cabinet selection; and how the election of this 45th president will shape our lives—directly or indirectly—for at least the next four years.

Come enjoy a lively exchange of ideas and opinions over pizza and refreshments.
