School of Education Conference: 'Equity in Education'

The Equity in Education Conference: Actions for Social Justice in Education is a dynamic and engaging one-day conference for teacher candidates, educators and those who are passionate about social justice in education. The School of Education at Webster University has sponsored this conference over the last four years and it serves as a premier learning and professional development opportunity. The goal of the conference is to deepen our understanding and further promote equity in education for the children and families of the Saint Louis region.
Equity in Education Conference

This year's focus is on actions that schools and districts are taking to actualize greater equity in their academic programming and in the lives of the learners that they serve. Hear what local school districts, educators, and students are doing to innovatively and creatively promote greater equity for disabled as well as racial and ethnic minorities, immigrant families and English Language Learners.
Come join us for a day filled with learning and inspiration to further actions toward social justice in education!
