The Breakfast Club

A coming of age comedy-drama that follows five teenagers, each a member of a different high school clique, who spend a Saturday in detention together and come to realize that they are all more than their respective stereotypes. The film features an ensemble cast of rising stars (Brat Pack):  Emilio Estevez (the jock), Anthony Michael Hall (the brain), Judd Nelson (the criminal), Molly Ringwald (the princess), Ally Sheedy (the basket case). The film features the song Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds that became a hit following the release of the movie and soundtrack.
