SVO Mental Health Advocacy Panel Discussion

The Webster University Student Veterans Organization (SVO) will host this panel discussion and reception with the aim to empower students, veterans and staff to take part in fighting the stigma surrounding mental illness, equip students with skills necessary to identify signs of depression or suicidal thoughts, and provide tools and resources on who to contact in the event of crisis.

Panelists are mental health professionals and those working in the suicide prevention and depressive illness fields. Students, staff, faculty and community members working in mental health or passionate about mental health promotion are encouraged to attend.
