The School of Communications presents the Media Academy Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6, 2017.
During this two-day event, industry experts and representatives of some of the largest media companies in the country meet with students, lead workshops, and critique student work during the exhibition and networking reception.
Wednesday afternoon features opening remarks, a panel discussion and a brief overview of each of Thursday’s workshops. This session is in the Winifred Moore Auditorium beginning at 2 p.m.
Student and alumni who have not yet registered will have an opportunity to do so. The afternoon concludes with a networking reception in the Webster Groves Room (Webster Hall 135). All members of the Webster community are welcome to attend Wednesday's events.
Thursday’s workshops will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the East Academic Building. Check-in and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Each session lasts about an 50 minutes. The student exhibition and networking reception begin at 1:30 p.m. and run until 3 p.m. in the Edward Jones Commons of the East Academic Building.
