Floyd Norman: An Animated Life
(Michael Fiore, Erik Sharkey, 2016, USA, 94 min.)
An intimate journey through the life and career of 80-year-old Floyd Norman, the first African-American animator at Disney Studios. He later went on to develop the original Fat Albert TV special, early Sesame Street segments, and classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
Floyd Norman is the "Supermensch" of animation: everywhere you look in animation history, you find Floyd. Mr. Norman will answer questions following the screening.

Kinematifest is Webster University’s International Animation and Interactive Media festival. The mission is to showcase student work and foster a worldwide interest in animation and interactive media striving to give students an opportunity to have their work critiqued by industry professionals, facilitate networking opportunities and advocate learning through workshops and seminars.
