Dear World is an art project/social experiment that shares personal stories, encourages conversations and showcases hope. They ask that participants "share a story that only they can tell," something that really speaks to the core of who they are. These "stories" are then written on the participant's body and a portrait is taken of them to be shared during an on-campus story-telling event and on social media.
Dear World has photographed over 50,000 people worldwide, highlighted survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing, students at 50+ college campuses, worked with cancer advocacy organizations and countless others.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend this open photo shoot to share their story and have a portrait taken. Trained volunteers are present to help guide the participants in telling their story.
