Creepshow

(George Romero, 1982, USA, 129 min.)

From the mind of Stephen King (his screenwriting debut) and the eye of the late George Romero, Creepshow presents five short but terrifying tales contained within a single feature film. The Crate, starring Hal Holbrook and Adrienne Barbeau, a monster escapes from its holding cell and consumes the discoverer and others. Something to Tide You Over focuses on Richard Vickers (Leslie Nielsen), a wealthy psychopathic husband with a creative way of getting back at Becky (Gaylen Ross), his cheating wife. The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill concerns Jordy Verrill (Stephen King), a rural man and alien vegetation. They're Creeping Up on You tells the story of Upson Pratt (E.G. Marshall), a cruel and ruthless businessman with Mysophobia, who succumbs to his worst fears.
