How to be an Effective Advocate with Elected Officials

Students are invited to join Webster alumnus and lobbyist Jim Brown for a workshop titled, "How to be an Effective Advocate with Elected Officials," on Monday, Oct. 16, from 12:15 - 1 p.m., in the East Academic Building, room 151.

 

Brown is a partner at Bracy, Tucker, Brown & Valanzano – D.C. based advisors and advocates for nonprofit organizations and municipalities across the country.

 

Attendees will be able to grow their skill base at this presentation and get an insider’s perspective on the best strategies for getting your message across to elected officials.

 

Pizza (including gluten free options) and water will be available at the workshop.
