Centennial Gala

The Gala will top off Webster University’s 100th Anniversary year at the historic St. Louis Union Station on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m.

This will be an evening of surprises and special guests – filled with distinctive Webster superstars, including “Blackish” star Jenifer Lewis. Lewis is a St. Louis-born actress, singer, community activist and Webster University alumna from 1979. “Blackish” is a hit ABC television show. Other highlights include recognition of the Daniel Webster Society (DWS) visionary award winners, a look at Webster's past century and a sneak peek at plans for the next century.

Gala proceeds will benefit the Webster University Next Century Leaders Scholarship Fund which provides critical support to Webster students and helps to set them on a path to success. These scholarships help to relieve students of the need for second jobs and excessive financial aid loans, allowing them to devote more concentrated attention to their academic work.
