3 Credit Hour Walker Seminar: In Pursuit of P.U.R.P.O.S.E

Defined as “the reason for which something is done, created or exists,” purpose is a trending topic that must be investigated, interpreted, and invoked.  Research suggests that knowing your purpose not only adds meaning to life but it also increases motivation and fulfillment.  Individuals who know their purpose are more self-aware, focused, passionate, and resilient.  They are also better friends and employees.  As a result, many companies are beginning to harness the power of purpose to drive profits.

So, what is your purpose?  Do you know?  If not, you are not alone.  Many people spend their entire lives wondering about their purpose and desiring discovery.  Unfortunately, they do not know how to begin.  This spring 2019, Webster University will offer a course to help students begin the journey to discovery.  The meaning of purpose will be explored and evaluated within the context of its components:

•         Power

•         Uniqueness

•         Resilience

•         Prosperity

•         Opportunity

•         Self-development & Actualization

•         Execution & Excellence

Join us on this journey to discovery!  Your time has come.
